Do you need a Website or a Sales Funnel?

Did you know that it costs McDonald’s $1.91 in advertising to get you into the drive-thru…?

And when they sell you a burger for $2.09… they ONLY make a measly 18 cents in profit. Not much.

But… when they upsell you fries and a drink for $1.77 more… they make (and more importantly keep $1.32 in pure profit)…

Yes, that’s 8 times the profit of the initial sale! Pretty awesome, don’t you think?

It all comes down to this.

If you’re like most people who sell stuff online, you probably set up a website, and you started selling your product. You invest in marketing and advertising to drive traffic to your website and hope they buy.

Sales are slow or non-existent and after you factor in your advertising costs, you’re probably not left with enough to even cover your web hosting costs.

Sigh…

The issue with this is that if you want to make money online today, you need to realize that you can’t sell from a flat brochure style website like this scary one.

That’s a real live website… Scary I know.

You don’t want or need this.

You need to do what McDonald’s did, and set up a sales funnel

But instead of having people go through a drive-thru window, you get your online visitor to go through a “capture page” where you can gather their contact information and follow up with them using email.

Then instead of selling them a burger, you have a sales page created to sell your initial product…

And while you’re probably not going to offer your customers fries and a coke…

You could definitely upsell them on your other products and services.

This is what we call a “Sales Funnel“, where your website visitors can come in the top and sales comes out the bottom.

It could look something like this.

You’ve seen it work at McDonald’s, you’ve seen it work on Amazon… and you KNOW it will work for you.

So, you decide to create your first sales funnel using your current website CMS. Maybe it’s WordPress or Wix or something else…

But after weeks of trial and error trying to make it all work together, You ask yourself…

WHY does it have to be so hard?

All you wanted to do was to sell your stuff online. But instead, you spent weeks (maybe months) playing with web builders, hiring designers and programmers BEFORE you ever made your first penny online.

This sucks and well… seems kinda backwards.

Shouldn’t there be an easy way to create high converting sales funnels, without having to hire an entire software engineering and marketing team to do it?

Well, I found a solution to this problem in a great little tool called Click Funnels.

I have used a lot of website builders, landing page tools and this is one of the most simple and easy ways to create sales funnels that convert!
