Selecting A Niche for your Online Business

You're going to put your heart and soul into this so you might as well do it around a topic or niche that interests you and that you can talk about.
I find to do this kind of brainstorm activity find a whiteboard or a big sheet of paper and find a quiet place you can sit alone without distraction.
Start to write out things that you enjoy doing and why you like it.

Get out and do field research

Sometimes getting away from your computer or smartphone is the best way to find a perfect niche.
Another great way to research niches is to go to a bookstore and browse the magazine section.
There's a magazine for every niche out there and when you find ones you like take a look at how thick they are with advertisers and learn whose advertising in there.
This will help you decide if the niche you are going into has a lot of customers that spend money in that niche.
